Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD)is a common infectious disease caused by a variety of enteroviruses. It mostly occurs in children aged 5 and below. Fever, rash and other symptoms often occur. A few patients can be complicated with diseases such as aseptic meningitis, neurogenic pulmonary edema and myocarditis. Severe illness can cause death. Since the disease has strong infectivity and complex transmission routes, and can break out in a rush, early screening and diagnosis is of great significance for the diagnosis of HFMD.
